PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printing apparatus which allows a tape cassette to be easily replaced without removing a protector every time when a battery is replaced. SOLUTION: The tape printing apparatus comprises first protector members 15A and 15B covering an upper unit main body 4, a lower unit main body 5 and one end part of a rear cover 3 and protecting the tape printing apparatus 1 and second protector members 16A and 16B covering the other end positioned on the opposite side, and the members 15A and 15B and the members 16A and 16B are divided into two between the the body 4, the body 5 and the back cover 3, and individually mounted.
