PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize stable progressive display by a plasma display panel provided with display electrodes having a common arrangement mode. SOLUTION: A plasma display panel structure, which has the display electrodes formed into a shape capable of restricting an increase of unevenness of an electrode area between cells, and a driving sequence for dividing an addressing into a former half and a later half are combined with each other. An object of one of the former half addressing and the later half addressing is rows, wherein the first display electrodes having an odd number in arrangement order are arranged, in the case of giving attention to the only first display electrodes not to be used for row selection, and the other object is rows, wherein the first display electrodes having an even number in arrangement order.
