PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a stop lamp switch on any type of a hydraulic master cylinder device and to achieve sufficient routing of wiring. SOLUTION: A hydraulic master cylinder 3 is arranged so that a center axis A of a cylinder hole 7 is perpendicular to a virtual line C passing through a center axis B of a handle bar 2. An operation lever 4 is pivotally supported on lever holders 6b extending from a cylinder body 6 by a pivot 19. A push rod 5 is interposed between the operation lever 4 and a piston 8. A union boss part 21 having a union hole 20 opened is protrudingly provided on a lower surface of the cylinder body 6. The stop lamp switch 22 having connectors 22c for carrying current protruding from one end is disposed on a lower surface of the cylinder body 6 while being tilted with respect to the center axis A so that the one end is directed to the vehicle lower part. A switch press portion 25f for actuating an operation piece 22b of the stop lamp switch 22 is provided on a knocker 25 of the operation lever 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
