<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expression vector which enables the expression of a gene in Actinomyces. <P>SOLUTION: The expression vector containing the base sequence of the prompter domain of an actinomyces L11 protein gene (rp1K gene) is constructed. The vector can highly express a foreign gene in an actinomyces proliferation period. The vector can be utilized as a multi-copy or low-copy plasmid vector or as a genome insertion type vector. When the vector is used, a desired protein can be produced in the actinomyces or the like. When the vector is used to express an anti-sense RNA against an arbitrary target gene, the function of the target gene can specifically be inhibited. The vector is useful for the production of a desired protein, the production of a recombinant microbe which promotes or inhibits a specific gene function, the analysis of an actinomyces gene, and the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
