PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-shrinkable polyester film for the full label of a bottle extremely reduced in the occurrence of the wrinkles caused by shrinkage, shrink irregularity and strain. SOLUTION: The heat-shrinkable polyester film comprises a polyester resin wherein a neopentyl glycol component in 100 mol% of the polyhydric alcohol component in a full polyester resin component is 5 mol% above and a 1,4-cyclohexane deimethanol component therein is 5 mol% or above and is characterized in that the hot water shrinkage factor of the polyester film in a main shrink direction is 5-60% under a condition of a treatment temperature of 70°C and a treatment time of 5 sec and 75% or above under a condition of 85°C and 5 sec and the hot water shrinkage factor in the direction crossing the main shrink direction at a right angle is 3% or below under a condition of 65°C and 5 sec and 10% or below under a condition of 85°C and 5 sec.
