A serial-connected heat dissipating fan module comprises a first fan unit, a second fan unit, at least one connecting member, and at least one side air inlet. The first fan unit and the second fan unit are provided with a first impeller and a second impeller respectively, and can be serially connected by the connecting member. The side air inlet is defined on at least combining edge of housings of the two fan units. The second fan unit can suck additional air from the side air inlet to increase total air flow. Thus, when the rotational speed of the first impeller of the first fan unit is slowed down by accident, the second impeller of the second fan unit can supply auxiliary air flow from the side air inlet so as to prevent from generating air-noise caused by unbalanced air density in the fan units.
