The plate is for a spray beam with fluid channels (6) between an intake (8) and nozzle outlets on the plate edge (7). Neighboring channels are connected via bypass channels (13) to permit fluid flow between channels, with a first connecting bypass in flow direction, and a further bypass against flow direction. The channels are formed by grooves in at least one surface (4a) of the guide plate, or by projections (14) on/in the plate, with each projection forming part of a channel wall and/or bypass. The number of projections increases in flow direction of the lubricant.
