WIDE-ANGLE VIRTUAL HELMET

The invention relates to a virtual helmet wherein ordinary lenses are substituted by two Fresnel mirror lenses which are offset with respect to the optical axis thereof, thereby forming an unlimited image visual angle. Two video cameras are used for measuring the eye base which is used for focusing approximate and distant objects either by measuring the radius of curvature of one of the lenses or by displacing one of the lenses or by using in series arranged several liquid-crystal panels. In addition, two video cameras can be used for carrying out an environmental space analysis and for introducing the data thereof into said virtual helmet.
