<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high corrosion resistance tube for a heat exchanger and a heat exchanger having excellent corrosion resistance of the tube by enabling to reduce the corrosion depth, uninfluenced even by slight fluctuation of a brazing condition, and manufacturable industrially efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: In this heat exchanger 1 wherein fins 3 are bonded by brazing between a plurality of tubes 2 formed by providing a sacrificial corrosion layer on the surface of an aluminium tube core material, the tube core material has a constitution including a metal (low diffusion metal having a noble potential) which is a metal having a nobler potential than Al and has a diffusion coefficient below 1×10<SP>-9</SP>cm<SP>2</SP>/sec in aluminium of a metal element at 600°C, as a metal to be mainly added for relative potential difference impartation. The relative potential difference between the sacrificial corrosion layer surface and the intermediate position in the thickness direction of the tube core material is set in the range of 30-250 mV.
