PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a mold for molding a casting with no burr generated. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the mold includes the following processes: a process wherein a product-cavity with a designated dimension similarly larger than the dimension of a cast product is formed by combining two or more metallic molds having product-cavities with designated dimensions similarly larger than the dimension of the cast product; a process where the surface of the formed product cavity is coated with an adhesive; a process wherein a proper quantity of heat-resistant granules free from a binder is put into the product-cavity coated with the adhesive; a process wherein, by three-dimensionally moving the two or more metallic molds into which the heat-resistant granules are put, the heat-resistant granules are stuck to the surface of the product-cavity with a binder to coat the surface with the granules, so that the product-cavity is formed to have the approximately designated dimension; and a process wherein disused heat-resistant granules, which are not stuck to the surface of the product-cavity, are removed from inside the cavity.
