<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation efficiency of reading processing by omitting any arrangement or removal operation when the written information of a document face is read. <P>SOLUTION: This document written information acquisition processing system is configured to successively pile up documents on a document placing stand, or to remove the documents from a status that those documents are piled up, and to read and process information written on the uppermost document face with the depth of field to be photographed corresponding to the change of the thickness of the documents. At first, image data are outputted by optimally reading the information written on the uppermost document face with the depth of field to be photographed corresponding to the change of the thickness of the documents on the document placing stand by a scanner 110. The information on the area of the document section corresponding to the size of the document from the scanner 100 is detected by an image acquisition processing part 112A. Then, image data are generated by segmenting the image area of the document section corresponding to the size of the document by general computers 114 and LAN 115 based on the detection information from the image acquisition processing part 112A, and information showing the size of the read document is acquired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
