<p>A plastifier unit comprises a directly driven worm (5), composed of an electrical drive with a rotor (3) and a stator (1,2). The drive is transferred in a contactless manner, from the stator to the rotor which is attached to the worm. The drive transfer does not use gears. The unit has a double worm extruder, and the drive unit consists of a synchronous motor or an asynchronous motor.</p> |
