PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the retrieval and browse of data for a network constituted of an LAN/WAN or the Internet, and to execute the processing, printing and transfer of the data and charging management.

SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus 1 is provided with: an image forming means 18 for printing out an image; an Internet connecting means 11; an LAN/WAN connecting means 12 for connecting to the server device of the predetermined LAN/WAN through the Internet; and a data output instructing means 13 for instructing data output stored in the predetermined storing means in the LAN/WAN to the server device. Then, a data processing means 14 processes the data outputted from the server device, and the image forming means 18 outputs the processed reception data or non-processed reception data received without being transmitted through the data processing means.
