PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent duplication of various kinds of file access processes, in a file management method for a data converter used for data transfer between tasks or devices, transferring a file after conversion. SOLUTION: An inputted file is written in a file 24A once. Thereafter, a conversion processing part 22 reads file data from the file 24A, converts them, and writes them into the file 24B. The file data are outputted from an output protocol control part 23. At that time, a state of each kind of process such as writing or reading to the file 24A is written in a file name, and a succeeding process refers to the state attached to the file name to prevent the duplication of file access.
