PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a self-adhesive tape at a low cost which exhibits excellent flame retardancy, generates no corrosive gas at the time of incineration disposal, leaves no ash after combustion and has good hand-tearability to ensure excellent operating efficiency in a flame-retardant treatment operation, or the like. SOLUTION: This self-adhesive tape comprises an unstretched substrate film made of a polyolefin resin, having an almost smooth surface on one side and an uneven surface on the other side, and a self-adhesive layer formed on either one side. In the self-adhesive tape, the uneven surface of the substrate film has inverted isosceles triangle-shaped grooves having a depth of 0.03-0.3 mm and a base width of 0.01-0.3 mm formed in the width direction of the substrate film at an interval of 0.5-5 mm in the longitudinal direction of the substrate film with the difference between the thickness of the substrate film and the depth of the grooves of 10-90μm, and the polyolefin resin constituting the substrate film contains melamine cyanurate and has a melt flow rate of 5-20 g/10 min.
