A process for producing a highly esthetic dental prosthesis while, at the time of forming a cast coating layer on the surface of an undercoat layer by casting, preventing the move of the undercoat layer; and a kit for use therein. In the provided process for producing a dental prosthesis and kit for use therein, at given pour temperature, the viscosity of a second ceramic material for forming cast coating layer (36) is lower than the viscosity of a first ceramic material for forming undercoat layer (14), so that the move of the undercoat layer (14) can appropriately be inhibited.
