PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of reducing damage to a block such as partial wear and premature wear without deteriorating steering stability and wet performance on a dry road surface. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 1 is provided with a plurality of diagonal grooves 11 formed from a tread shoulder part 12 to the tread shoulder part 13 in a tire circumferential direction. The diagonal groove 11 is constituted of a diagonal groove central part 11a crossing a tread central part 14 and diagonal groove end parts extending from both end parts of the diagonal groove central part 11a, cutting across a end part of at least a tread grounding surface 15 and having an diagonal angleθ2 different from the diagonal angleθ1 of the diagonal groove central part 11a before cutting across the end part of the tread grounding surface 15. A reverse diagonal groove 16 diagonally arranged in a reverse direction to the diagonal groove central part 11a (the diagonal angleθ3) is provided between the diagonal groove central parts 11a, 11a adjacent each other in the tire circumferential direction to connect the diagonal groove central parts 11a, 11a.
