PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap capable of reliably preventing any slipping phenomenon of the cap from a mouth part of a container when the cap is opened without raising any other problems that the cap is hardly fitted to the mouth part of the container, or the like, and combination of the cap with the container. SOLUTION: In the cap A having the tamper-evident characteristic in which a top wall 10 and a cylindrical skirt wall 11 are included, a circumferentially weakening line 12 is formed in the skirt wall, the skirt wall is demarcated into a main portion 13 and a tamper-evident hem portion 14, and a female threaded bar 20 is formed in the main portion, a flexible flap 22 is formed on an inner circumferential surface of the tamper-evident hem part, and a projecting bar 23 is formed in a vicinity of an upper portion of the flap. The flap is held between the projecting bar and a jaw portion 30 of a container mouth part B when opening the cap, and prevents upward movement of the tamper-evident hem part.
