摘要 FIELD: non-iron metallurgy, titanium chlorine metallurgy, in particular reprocessing and emission mitigation of chlorine containing exhaust gas. ^ SUBSTANCE: method for emission mitigation of chlorine containing exhaust gas, obtained in magnesium production from melt includes gas feeding into burning flame of hydrocarbon fuel, chlorine reducing in burning process to hydrogen chloride to obtain fuel gas; followed fuel gas cooling with air up to 400-8000C at rate of 800-50000C/s and treatment with alkali reagent to produce concentrated calcium chloride solution. Obtained calcium chloride solution is purified from impurities, striped and dried with simultaneous graining in apparatus with fluidized bed. Chlorine reduction is carried out at heat duty in reaction zone of 1.7-9.5 gJ/m3h. Water steam and/or water are additionally introduced into burning flame at chlorine/total content of water steam mass ratio of 2.0-4.0:1. Water is dispersed before introducing into burning flame. Fuel gases before treating with alkali agent are additionally treated with water to produce hydrochloric acid.
