PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate substantially free of optical distortion even when curved. SOLUTION: The polarizing plate is obtained by sticking a transparent sheet and a polarizing film together, wherein the transparent sheet comprises a polycarbonate resin composition obtained by blending a polycarbonate resin (A) prepared by bringing 95-5 mol% of a dihydroxy compound represented by formula (1) (where R1and R2each represents H or methyl) and 5-95 mol% of a dihydroxy compound represented by formula (2) (where X represents a 1-10C alkylene or 4-20C cycloalkylene) into carbonate bonding with a carbonic diester and a polycarbonate (B) prepared by bringing a dihydroxy compound represented by formula (3) into carbonate bonding with a carbonic diester or phosgene in a ratio satisfying [100×(A)]/[(A)+(B)]=1-99 wt.%.
