<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently output only a user's selection from annotation information, in an image processing device for handling an image with annotation information attached to local areas. <P>SOLUTION: A personal computer sets a preview display area 73a and an annotation selection area 73b on a print preview window 73 to display an image in the preview display area 73a and display annotation information in the annotation selection area 73b. When any piece of annotation information is selected from the annotation information displayed in the annotation selection area 73b, the annotation information is added to the display in the preview display area 73a.
