<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a light emitting device resistant to an influence by parasitic capacitance without the need for suppressing off-current of a switching transistor, and the need for increasing the capacitance of a capacitance element. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device is provided with a driving transistor with its gate potential fixed, and a current control transistor connected to the driving transistor in series. A video signal, which transmits a signal for making a pixel emit or not emit light, is inputted to the gate of the current control transistor via a switching transistor.
