PURPOSE: A pedestal leg structure of a glass forming mold for a cathode ray tube is provided to improve productivity by uniformly cooling a forming mold along a circumference of the forming mold. CONSTITUTION: A pedestal leg(11) is fixed on an upper surface of a turntable provided with an air duct to support forming mold(2). The circumference of a cross section of the pedestal leg has a curvature greater than zero. The circumference of the pedestal leg is a round shape. The circumference of the pedestal leg is the circumference of an overlapped portion of two circles having an identical diameter. The circumference of the pedestal leg is the circumference generated by processing corners of a rectangular with an identical curvature.
