摘要 <p>1293981 Ageing of alcoholic beverages RDT INTERNATIONAL Inc and G R WEBER 22 Jan 1970 [23 Jan 1969 23 June 1969] 3278/70 Heading C6E The ageing and maturing of alcoholic beverages such as beer, whiskey, brandy, vodka, gin, rum and wine (including fortified wine) is accelerated by irradiating the beverage or beverages constituent or intermediate product at least once with actinic light of a wavelength between 3900 and 4800Š at an intensity between 2 x 10<SP>12</SP> and 5 x 10<SP>14</SP> quanta/sec/cm<SP>2</SP> for a time between 2 - seconds and 10 minutes. The following may be treated: (1) unfermented wort and green beer, (2) undistilled spirit and rectified spirit before or after dilution with water, (3) whiskey base, (4) a distillation product of molasses and ethyl alcohol utilized in the production of rum and (5) must and fermented wine before or after any initial ageing and racking.</p>
