STATE MIGRATION IN MULTIPLE NIC RDMA ENABLED DEVICES FOR EFFICIENTLY USING CPU RESOURCES OF NETWORK DEVICE

PURPOSE: State migration in multiple NIC(Network Interface Card) RDMA(Remote Direct Memory Access) enabled devices for efficiently using CPU resources of a network device is provided to transfer control between the first and the second network interface in multiple network interface devices after the first network interface transmits an ID generated by the first network interface. CONSTITUTION: After the first network interface transmits the ID generated by the first network interface to the second network interface, the control between the first and the second network interface is transmitted(406). A program component receives a message from the second network interface(414). A list of the IDs generated by the first network interface and a memory address in a memory of the network interface devices are supplied to the program component by querying to the first network interface(424). The memory address related to the ID is transmitted to the second network interface(432).
