PURPOSE: A safety shelf is provided to simplify a construction work and a maintenance work, to shorten a period of construction and to secure the safety of a worker to the maximum. CONSTITUTION: The safety shelf comprises: many supports fixed to a wall of a building to be separable at regular intervals; many frame members(20) provided with upper, lower clamps(21,22) attached to inner, outer ends and arranged to be inclined upward at regular intervals; an inner short pipe(30) fastened to the lower clamp(22) of the frame members(20) and installed horizontally along a wall of a building; an outer short pipe(40) fastened to the upper clamp(21) of the frame members(20) and facing with the inner short pipe(30); a safety net(60) covering on a frame formed by inner, outer short pipes(30,40) of the frame members(20); and wire ropes(70) for many hangers fastened to the supports and provided with a vertical cord(71) suspending the inner short pipe(30) and an inclined cord(72) whose one end is fixed to the outer short pipe(40) and the other end is fastened to the support to support the outside of the frame member(20) not to be hung down.
