The use of an ester of a Guerbet alcohol and one or more diacid dimers of unsaturated fatty acid in a cosmetic composition for the care and/or makeup of keratinic matter to give a smooth, non-sticky, brilliant and or comfortable deposit on it and the composition itself. An independent claim is included for a method of makeup and/or care of the skin and the lips comprising the application of the claimed composition to the skin, the lips and/or the phanera.
