PURPOSE: A method for correcting an offset, a circuit for correcting the offset and an electronic volume are provided to control the offset of the electronic volume easily and accurately. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for correcting the offset includes an amplifying unit(2) and an offset determination unit(10). The amplifying unit is provided with an offset correction circuit to adjust the offset of the amplifying unit. The offset determination unit is provided with a comparison unit(11) to compare the output of the amplifying unit with the reference value. The counter increases or decreases the count value in response to the outputs of the comparison unit. And, the offset correction circuit adjusts the offset based on the count value.
