PURPOSE: A heat exchanger for a refrigerator and a refrigerant pipe manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase the productivity by simplifying the structure, and to improve the reliability of the heat exchanger used for a long time by enhancing the heat exchange performance. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger for a refrigerator is composed of a refrigerant pipe(10) composed of plural linear parts(11) and plural curved parts(12) connecting the linear parts, and plural fins combined with the linear parts of the refrigerant pipe by internal penetration holes. The refrigerant pipe is composed of an assembling part of the linear part and the curved part coated by a metal layer. A couple of reinforcing plates are installed in parallel at both sides of the fins, and the linear parts are arranged vertically to the air flow direction. The leak is prevented, and the bonding rigidity is increased by reinforcing the assembling part of the refrigerant pipe.
