PURPOSE: A remote control method using a wired/wireless terminal is provided to connect a call by dialing a receiving telephone number if a preset telephone number is identical with the receiving telephone number, and to remotely control a wired/wireless terminal by using a terminal of the preset telephone number. CONSTITUTION: In a standby mode(310), a controller of a wired/wireless terminal confirms whether a short message is received(312). If so, the controller stores the received short message in a memory(314). The controller decides whether a preset remote control command sentence is identical with contents of the received short message(316). If so, the controller dials a telephone number inputted in the short message(318), and confirms whether a call is received(320). If so, the controller connects a speech path(322), and delivers a password input announce message(324). The controller receives a password(326), and decides whether the password is identical with a preset password(328). If so, the controller enters a remote control mode(332).
