The mixer faucet, having a housing (2) with cold (5) and hot (6) water inlets and an outlet (7) for mixed warm water, incorporates a control and drive mechanism (3) with a step-by-step motor (24) to rotate the mixer plug (4) about its axis inside the housing cavity (8), and a thermostatic probe (23) to monitor the mixed water temperature. The motor is traversed by an axial guide screw (25) and is connected to the housing by a lever arm (27).
