APPARATUS AND A METHOD FOR DISPLAYING AND EDITING AN IMAGE BASIS OF A THREE-DIMENSIONAL OBJECT TO IMPROVE A RENDERING SPEED AND RENDERING QUALITY

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for displaying and editing an image basis of a 3D(three-Dimensional) object are provided to improve a rendering speed and rendering quality by removing redundant data which occurs according to change in the visual angel of a user who looks at the 3D object. CONSTITUTION: A normal vector of each pixel projected in a 3D space is calculated by use of each depth image included in a plurality of simple textures which represents one facet of an 3D object(S520). A reliability degree of pixels is included in each simple texture on a basis of the normal vector(S530). The reliability degree of the pixels which represent the same area as the 3D object is compared with another one, and thereby data of pixels having a low reliability degree is removed from the simple texture(S540).
