PURPOSE: A system for operating the Brine recirculation pump(BRP) is provided to smoothly operate the BRP and the overall plant by separately controlling the corresponding BRP with dividing into a start condition and an emergency stop condition. CONSTITUTION: A system for operating the Brine recirculation pump(BRP) includes a last stage Brine level monitoring unit(210), a BRP monitoring unit(220), a power monitoring unit(230), a BRP information DB(240) and a controller(250). The last stage Brine level monitoring unit monitors the last stage Brine level. The BRP monitoring unit monitors the switching state of BRDP C/V, the switching state of BRP suction valve, the switching state of BRP vent valve, the temperature of BRP upper/bottom bearing, the temperature of BRP winding, the temperature of BRP thrust bearing, the temperature of BRP radial bearing and the BRP vibration. The power monitoring unit monitors the power change supplied to the plant. The BRP information DB stores the power reference value, the top and bottom bearing temperature threshold value of the BRP motor, the BRP motor winding temperature threshold value, the BRP thrust bearing temperature threshold value, the BRP motor bearing temperature threshold value and the BRP rotation vibrational threshold value. And, the controller drives the BRP when the BRP start condition is satisfied by using the supplying power and the BRP state information and stops the BRP when the emergency stop condition stored at the BRP information DB is satisfied.
