CIRCUIT BREAKER OF SWITCHGEAR IN POWER PLANT HAVING TEMPERATURE DEPENDENT REGISTER DELIVERING ALTERNATING CURRENT POWER SOURCE

PURPOSE: A circuit breaker of a switchgear in a power plant is provided to reduce a manufacturing cost by perform a breaker trip without using a separate alternating current power source. CONSTITUTION: A circuit breaker of a switchgear in a power plant is implemented on a medium voltage switchgear which is remote from a main electric room of the power plant. The circuit break performs a breaker trip without requiring a separate direct current source. A capacitive storage system supplies a power to corresponding medium voltage switchgear. The capacitive storage system includes a TDR(Temperature Dependent Register)(11), a register protection element(MOV), a plurality of capacitors(C1-C3), and diodes(D1,D2). The TDR transfers the alternating current to a control source. The register protection element protects the TDR. The capacitors store the alternating current received from the TDR. The diodes rectify the alternating current.
