<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable image recording to a wide variety of recording media regardless of ink absorption amounts of the recording media without sacrificing the high recording freeness of an inkjet recording system. <P>SOLUTION: There are set a process of carrying out a modifying process for a surface by processing of plasma and by an application process of a surface active agent to an intermediate transfer body which has the surface formed of at least one material of a fluorine compound and a silicone compound, a process of forming an image by discharging ink onto the intermediate transfer body with the use of an inkjet recording means, and a process of transferring the image of ink formed on the intermediate transfer body to the recording medium. In other words, the ink image is formed without generating bleeding or beading on the intermediate transfer body which has a surface layer of ink repellent properties, so that the ink image can be transferred in a good state to the recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
