摘要 <p>The invention relates to a method for aligning measuring signals obtainable by means of optical fibres. The inventive method consists in arranging a reference material having a known reference temperature on the end of an optical fibre, heating said reference material to at least the reference temperature thereof, transferring the signal received by the optical fibre a t the reference temperature to a measuring instrument in the form of an aligni ng signal and in comparing said signal with a theoretical reference temperature value, the difference therebetween being used for alignment. A corresponding device and the use thereof for calibrating or determining optical fibre attenuation is also disclosed.</p>
