PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication switching system for easily setting/changing/releasing transfer. SOLUTION: This communication switching unit has a memory which stores a user presence status table showing the presence of a user and a user-classified transfer destination table where transfer destination corresponding to the presence of the user is set. Upon receiving an incoming call addressed to the user (step C1), the switching unit acquires the presence status of the user by referring to the user presence status table. Then, the switching unit decides the transfer destination corresponding to the presence status by referring to the user-classified transfer destination table. When the presence of the user is changed, the user presence status table is rewritten so that the transfer destination is changed without newly setting the transfer destination.
