PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket capable of meeting the demand on lowering the reaction force of a gasket, preventing the generation of falling phenomenon on a lip, and keeping a sealing function even when fine unevenness, a stepped part or the like exists on a mating face. SOLUTION: In this gasket mounted on one 2 of two members opposite to each other and closely kept into contact with the other member, and formed by integrally molding a mounting part 4 formed on one member 2 and a seal part 5 closely kept into contact with the other member, a seal lip 6 having bidirectional sealability is mounted on the seal part 5. Further the seal lip 6 has the shape of small collapsing volume to lower the reaction force, and the mounting part 4 has the shape being long in its height dimension h2 to prevent the falling of the seal lip 6, and stopping the other member collapsing the seal lip 6, just before the mounting part 4, when two members are assembled.
