An intermediate section of a ship being built or drydocked in a dock where the available space is less than the length of the ship is enclosed by the dock entrance 3 and two gate doors 6 extend from the side walls 2 of the dock. The upper edge of sill 4 extending across the entrance is provided with sealing members and the ship and/or the doors 6 are provided with sealing boxes 15 which fit the free space between the ship and the doors. |
