PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens capable of precisely correcting aberration. SOLUTION: The objective lens 20 has a first movable lens group 37 and a second fixed lens group 38 in a case 40. The objective lens 20 has an aberration correcting mechanism 42 which is to be driven using a driving device 56. The aberration correcting mechanism 42 adjusts the spherical aberration of the objective lens 20 by moving the first lens group 37 by rotation of the gear 50. Since the driving device 56 is freely attachable to and detechable from the objective lens 20, the driving device 56 does not prevent the lens 20 from being attached to a revolver 22. The starting point of the rotation of the gear 50 is defined by the detection of a body to be detected 72 by a reference sensor 65.
