PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method for depositing a liquid crystal-containing material on a substrate without having inferior points in conventional technologies, and a printing machine. SOLUTION: In the method for depositing a liquid crystal-containing material on a substrate, the material is held within a depositing device at a working temperature, to allow the material to be in a liquid state and the liquid crystal component contained in the material to exist in an intermediate phase at the temperature. Furthermore, a printing device constitution element, particularly an ink chamber, a screen roller, a transfer roller, an ink smoothing roller, an impression cylinder and a reverse impression cylinder can be individually heated in the printing machine.
