PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ALC panel (autoclaved lightweight concrete) having a novel surface texture which cannot be obtained by conventional processes and to provide a manufacturing method enabling easy/inexpensive manufacture of this ALC panel, in relation to the ALC panel used as an outer wall material of a building, for instance, and the manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: According to the ALC panel and the manufacturing method thereof proposed by this invention, an ALC material slurry is molded to be in a semi-cured state in a formwork and then removed and a semi-cured body thus obtained is cut in the shape of the panel by a wire such as a piano wire and then subjected to steam curing, so as to manufacture the ALC panel P. Herein the ALC material slurry is stuck on the surface of the semi-cured body before the steam curing which is cut in the shape of the panel, and the slurry is then subjected to the steam curing, together with the semi-cured body.
