PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control method of a drainage pump for equipment capable of corresponding to the abnormal increase of water in a tank by one pump without requiring two pumps and capable of being performed at a low cost without making the equipment large-sized and complicating a wiring and piping system. SOLUTION: In this operation control method for performing drain work by one drainage pump, an inverter 4 for controlling the rotational speed of a pump 3 and a water level detector 2 for detecting the water level in a tank are used together and the pump is subjected to energy saving operation at a speed lower than a rated rotational speed by the inverter 4 while the detection signal of the water level detector 2 is inputted to the inverter 4 when the water level is raised by the abnormal increase of water in the tank. By this constitution, the pump 3 is increased in speed up to the rated rotational speed so as to increase drain quantity to be subjected to power-up operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
