<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle steering device simplified constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises a transmission ratio variable mechanism 3 and a lock mechanism 8. The transmission ratio variable mechanism 3 has an input shaft 4 connected to a hand steering wheel side and an output shaft 5 connected to a steered wheel side and changes a transmission ratio between the input shaft and the output shaft by rotation drive of a motor 6. The lock mechanism 8 restricts relative rotation of the input shaft 4 and the output shaft 5. A stator 6a of the motor 6 is mounted on a vehicle body 30 side and the lock mechanism 8 restricts relative rotation of the output shaft 5 to a rotation shaft 6c of the motor 6 for restricting the relative rotation of the input shaft 4 to the output shaft 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
