PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a generation of trouble of a coating film such as a line and a foam by a bubble. SOLUTION: A web 11 that successively runs is coated so that a wet film thickness is≤25μm. A die 11 is put on a holding table 21 of a moving table 23 and a moving rate of the die 11 is arranged to be≤3 cm/sec. A preparing operation of coating at a sheltering position is carried out by delivering a filling liquid, used as a solvent of a coating solution, from a delivery opening 13a. Thereafter, a die 13 is moved to a coating position at a rate of≤30 mm/sec while a feeding liquid is changed to the coating solution to be delivered from the delivery opening 13a. A slot 15 of the die 11 is a part having a gap G1 of≥50μm and≤200μm and has the narrowest part having a length in a flow direction of the filling liquid of≥25 mm. The die 11 is kept to be a constant angle within a range of 15°≤θ1≤60°when an angle of the narrowest part to a horizontal plane is a slot angleθ1. Residual bubbles in the die 11 are disappeared and the generation of trouble of the coating film originated from it is controlled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
