PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that shocks (vibrations) occur in a vehicle body when an engine is started and a vehicle starts to travel in a traveling vehicle having a known input split type hydro-mechanical transmission. SOLUTION: A braking means 53 brakes the rotation of an element (an output element) to which a hydraulic motor 82 of a hydrostatic type continuously variable transmission 62 provided on a hydro-mechanical type transmission to output the driving force out of three elements (a carrier part 63 comprising a carrier 61 and a planetary gear 62 rotatably and pivotably supported by the carrier, a sun gear 64, and an internal gear 65) to constitute a differential mechanism 51 provided on the hydro-mechanical type transmission 50.
