<p>The two-stroke engine comprises two pistons which are connected to each other by a deflecting mechanism and have a synchronized movement with respect to each other. One piston controls the inlet port and transmits a part of the power which is transferred through the combustion to the crosshead, to two crank gears. The second piston controls the outlet port, and transmits the remaining part of the combustion power to a second crosshead, and from here to two additional crank gears.</p> |
