<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts and facilitate maintenance in a sheet feed device having a plurality of sheet storage parts parallel with each other along the sheet feeding direction. <P>SOLUTION: This sheet feed device is formed so that a first sheet feedout unit feeds out sheets from a sheet storage part positioned on the upstream side in the sheet feeding direction and a second sheet feedout unit feeds out sheet from a sheet storage part positioned on the downstream side in the sheet feeding direction. A sheet guide unit guides the sheets from the first sheet feedout unit to the second sheet feedout unit to carry out the sheets to a sheet transport route. The first and second sheet feedout units and the sheet guide unit are integrally supported on a same unit casing, and the unit casing is installed in an image forming device casing so as to be withdrawn in a specified direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
