PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printer capable of enhancing a printing accuracy, minimizing a screen plate in production compared with a conventional processing pattern to reduce a screen plate production cost, as well as extending screen plate service life. SOLUTION: The screen printer, using a squeegee 3 and a screen printing plate 100 to effect screen printing on a work piece 6, is equipped with a table 100 arranged opposite to the screen printing plate 100 and having the work 6 arranged thereupon, a screen sealing section substantially sealing the space between the screen printing plate 100 and the table 10, and a supply section 500 for supplying a gas to the substantially sealed space between the screen printing plate 100 and the table 10.
