PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of S/N caused by the accumulation of a dark current in a radiographing method and equipment providing a radiograph of a subject using a solid-state radiation detector. SOLUTION: Radiographing and reading equipment is provided with the solid-state radiation detector 10; current detecting circuit 50 comprising a recording voltage impressing power supply 56a used in a recording mode, a waiting voltage impressing power supply 56b used in a waiting mode, and the like; and a control means 70 connected to the current detecting circuit 50. This equipment sets the voltage of the wailing voltage impressing power supply 56b lower than the voltage of the recording voltage impressing power supply 56a so as to reduce the amount of the dark current accumulated during the waiting mode.
